Lunch n Learn: From Seed to System - How Earth Day Shapes Food Security
Join us this Earth Day for a meaningful and engaging lunch experience that explores how local solutions—right here in our community—are shaping a more resilient and accessible food system.
This moderated panel will bring together leaders working at different points in the food system:
- 🌱 Seed saving and community growing
- ♻️ Recycling and compost systems
- 🌿 Hydroponic farming and year-round food production
Together, we’ll explore how these efforts connect to food security, reduce waste, and help our community adapt to a changing environment.
You’ll hear real stories, practical insights, and have the opportunity to reflect on how small, local actions can make a big impact.
🍽️ Lunch will be provided. Enjoy a bountiful soup, salad, and sandwich buffet including beverage of choice, and cookie for dessert. (Gluten-free and dairy-free options available).
