Dig-in and help ensure access to fresh produce for our neighbors in need!

Join us and help Grow-a-Row for 54220 to help feed our hungry neighbors! Since March of this year, our food pantry attendance has increased by 183%.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $20,000 by June 30th in order to get the resources necessary to help us plant, grow, maintain, harvest, pack and label produce at our community garden plots located at 2344 S. 14th Street and also from our indoor hydroponic farm located at 1501 Marshall Street. Produce will then be harvested and provided through our food pantry and utilized in our community meals at our Community Food Center located at 1501 Marshall Street.

Reaching this year's goal means your gift will enable us to:

  • Provide over 100lbs of fresh leafy greens each month to families in need in our community!
  • Add 2 more indoor hydroponic farm units to meet the growing demand.
  • Add a shade cloth, garden benches and sidewall shelves in our greenhouse to conduct onsite garden education for youth.
  • Support our AmeriCorps Farm-to-School Nutrition Educator and Urban Farmer by providing garden-based education at the community garden and nutrition education for youth throughout the community.

Dig-in and help ensure access to fresh produce for our neighbors in need:

  1. GIVE the value to help us plant and maintain a quarter row ($20), half-row ($40), whole row ($80), half-garden bed ($160), or whole garden bed ($320) at South 14th Street Community Garden and our indoor hydroponic farm
  2. GROW your own. As part of your garden this year, plant and grow an extra row of veggies and donate them directly to us.
  3. SUPPORT our cause by signing up to volunteer.
  4. SHARE our efforts with friends and family in person or via social media.

Thank you for supporting our effort to provide people in need with dignified access to good food, along with opportunities to grow, cook, share, and advocate for it. Because of your generosity, we are able to continue to feed the immediate need and work towards ending future hunger in Manitowoc County.
